TV host appears alongside Billy Eichner as distant trick or treaters
James Corden spoofs Adele’s new single ‘Hello’ in a video which sees him star opposite comic Billy Eichner as Halloween trick or treaters who’ve drifted apart.
The clip, which may be viewed below, reveals Late, Late Show host Corden and Eichner (Parks and Recreation, Billy On The Street) as pals who grew up trick or treating together while dressed as Star Wars characters Chewbacca and Han Solo.
Yet, in the video, Eichner has grown apart from this time and no longer needs to spend Halloween with Corden. "I only presumed it was something that we had always do together," Corden sings. "Chewbacca wants his Han Solo."
Eichner includes, "I am too grown up these days for costumes/And I ain’t doing sweets."
Adele’s ‘Hello’ went straight to Number One in the Official UK Album Chart yesterday (October 30), becoming the fastest selling single of 2015 in the procedure.
